As February rolls around, my mind immediately thinks about the joy of Valentine’s Day. Not just the opportunity to shower your significant other with love, but a chance to express your fondness for all of those near and dear to your heart.

We’ve learned as we enter the 11th month of this pandemic how to pivot from what was once normal behavior to adjust in order to maintain a healthy safe environment for everyone.

As we rethink, I challenge you this second month of 2021 to strive for your heart’s desire in business. Many of you are wrestling with not only maintaining your business but seeking ways to take things to the next level through these challenging times. With fewer days in the month, I suggest you take time to strategize what you really desire for the reminder of this year.

The Queens Chamber has several webinars scheduled to assist in the process. “Financing Your Business, For Your Start-Up or Operating Business” is a complimentary workshop designed to help you start down that track. “Building a Blog for Your Business” is a webinar that will explore the nuances of blogging. This event, supported by the Rockaway Business Alliance, will provide essential tips from local business owners.
